Why do I need reef-safe sunscreen?

Standard sunscreens contain chemicals that harm the marine ecosystem.

Park rules mandate the use of reef-safe sunscreen. The waters around Koh Poda house sensitive marine life and coral fragments. Apply your sunscreen before boarding the boat and reapply after swimming.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Yes, you can bring light snacks and a reusable water bottle.

If you travel independently, packing your own snacks is a smart idea. Group tours usually provide a lunch package and drinking water. Just remember that feeding the wild macaques or the marine life is strictly prohibited.
