Do Krabi 4-Island tours include the park entry fee?

It depends entirely on the tour operator you choose.

Many speedboat and longtail boat tours exclude the fee from their base price. You must hand the cash to your guide or the ranger on arrival. Some premium cruises roll the national park fee into the total ticket price.

Why is there a fee for Koh Poda?

The fee funds the maintenance of the national park facilities.

Rangers use the funds to keep the beaches clean and maintain the basic restrooms. The park enforces strict rules, including a ban on single-use plastics and styrofoam, to protect the marine ecosystem.

What other costs should I expect on Koh Poda?

Expect small fees for restrooms and cash payments for snacks.

Using the public restrooms at the park ranger station costs 5 THB. Local vendors near the casuarina trees sell cold drinks and snacks. They only accept Thai Baht in cash.
